Quality Control
Every Printer
Tested. Every Time.
Seven inspection gates from incoming materials to final audit. 100% print-testing. ISO 9001-certified. Zero tolerance for defects that reach our partners.
The 7 Gates
Our QC Process
IQC — Incoming Quality Control
Every batch of raw materials inspected before entering production. Aluminum extrusions checked for straightness (±0.1mm/m). Electronic components sampled per AQL 1.0. Filament spools measured for diameter consistency (±0.02mm). Non-conforming materials rejected at the dock.
IPQC-1 — Frame & Motion System
After frame assembly: gantry squareness check (±0.05°), rail parallelism measurement, belt tension verification (45-55Hz on tension meter). Any frame failing geometry check is reworked before proceeding.
IPQC-2 — Electronics & Wiring
Controller board powered and self-tested. All stepper drivers verified. Heated bed resistance measured. Thermistor accuracy checked against reference (±1°C). Enclosure safety interlocks tested.
IPQC-3 — Pre-Calibration
Auto bed leveling mesh verification (max deviation <0.1mm across the entire build plate). Z-offset calibration. Extruder e-steps calibration. PID tuning for hotend and heated bed.
Test Print — Every Unit
Standard test print runs on 100% of printers: dimensional accuracy cube (20±0.1mm), bridging (50mm span), overhang (0-60°), retraction test. 4-hour continuous run for professional models. Results logged per serial number.
Final Inspection
Cosmetic inspection of enclosure and frame. Touchscreen function test. Wi-Fi connectivity verification. USB and Ethernet port testing. Accessories checklist: all included items verified against packing list.
OQC — Outgoing Quality Control
Random sampling per AQL 0.65 Level II before shipment. Packaging integrity check: drop test, vibration test. Serial number registration and test log archived. Certificate of conformance generated.
