Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions from distributors, OEM partners, and technical evaluators.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Sample orders of 1–5 units are available to evaluate the product before committing, at wholesale pricing. Custom branding runs start from 100 units; distribution volume tiers are agreed per partner and confirmed in your proposal.
How long does shipping take?
Standard production lead time is 2–3 weeks from order confirmation. Shipping options: DHL Express (3–7 days), air freight (7–12 days), or sea freight (25–35 days). Express shipping available for rush orders.
What certifications do Precise3D printers have?
CE (LVD) conformity — EN 62368-1, report on file, LVD 2014/35/EU — and RoHS compliance (EU 2015/863, report on file), both issued by an independent third-party laboratory and verifiable online by report number. Certificate copies and test reports are available to authorized partners for customs clearance. US radio authorization, retail safety listings, and Korea/India/South Africa/UK-style conformity marks are not claimed; they are scoped and tested per project.
What warranty do the printers come with?
Standard: 12 months on printer, 3 months on consumable parts (nozzles, build plates). Education: 2 years. DOA units are replaced immediately — no diagnostic required, replacement ships same day.
Can I customize the printer with my own brand?
Yes. Our OEM/White Label program offers enclosure color customization (Pantone matched), firmware branding, custom packaging, and branded accessories. Branding runs start from 100 units; the deeper the customization, the larger the scoping discussion.
Where are the printers made?
The Precise3D line is built through our manufacturing network in Shenzhen, China: a 3,500 sqm facility with four general-purpose assembly cell groups, a dedicated burn-in and aging line, and around 15 R&D engineers supporting machine and firmware work. Exports go mainly to Europe, North America, South America, and Asia — and every unit is power-tested and print-tested before packing.
Why should I trust your CE and RoHS claims?
Because you do not have to take our word for them. The CE (LVD) verification and the RoHS report carry public report numbers — and — issued by an independent third-party laboratory. They can be pulled up on the laboratory's public report-lookup page, and the scan copies are shown in the Register. Any other mark we do not hold is stated as not held.
Do you offer territory protection?
Yes. Authorized Distributors receive protected territory at the country level. Master Distributors receive protected multi-country regions. We do not sell direct to end customers in territories where we have an authorized distributor. Inquiries are routed to your sales team.
What wholesale margin can I expect?
Authorized Resellers: 25%. Authorized Distributors: 30–40% (volume-tiered). Master Distributors: 40–45%. All margins are protected by MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy with active enforcement.
What payment terms do you offer?
Standard: 50% deposit with PO, 50% before shipment. Net-30 terms available for established distributors after 3 completed orders. We accept wire transfer (T/T) and Letter of Credit (L/C) for orders above $50,000.
How do I become a Precise3D distributor?
Submit an inquiry through our contact form. We'll schedule a call to understand your market, channels, and goals. If there's a fit, we'll send a distributor agreement and product samples. The evaluation process typically takes 1–2 weeks.
Do you provide training and marketing support?
Yes. All partners get access to our training platform and marketing asset library. Authorized Distributors receive 3% MDF, co-branded materials, and live training sessions — all included at no additional cost.
What materials can Precise3D printers use?
Pro X1 supports PLA+, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU (95A–75D), Nylon (PA6/PA12), Polycarbonate, and carbon-fiber/glass-fiber composites. The all-metal hotend is rated to 300°C continuous with a hardened steel nozzle standard. No upgrades needed.
Is there a return policy for unsold inventory?
We do not accept returns of unsold inventory. However, our sales forecasting assistance helps partners order appropriate quantities. First-time partners are encouraged to start with a sample order to validate market demand before placing volume orders.
