De-watering and transfer conveyors move product from stage to stage, generating a steady stream of replaceable parts. The winners are conveyor guide rails and wear strips, idler and roller end-caps, sprocket guards, cleats and flights, and tracking-adjuster components. Because these are frequently UHMWPE or filled-nylon originals, they print exceptionally well and last comparably; the volume is what matters — a single plant may run 6–12 conveyors, each needing periodic wear-strip and guard replacement. Value-added processing is the precision element of the vertical. Filleting and trimming jigs, product guide plates, inspection-lamp housings, anti-corrosion guards and drain/cover components are hygiene-critical parts operators replace on a set schedule. Printed versions in food-safe PETG or PA-CF can outlast the cast metal or rubber originals in wet service because the polymer resists corrosion and cleaning chemistries without the brittleness of cast metal. Washdown & Hygienic Housing Parts
Every seafood line runs repeated washdowns. Sensor and switch housings, cable-pass grommets, control-box gaskets, drain-channel covers, and sanitizer-sprayer brackets and nozzles are high-consumption parts bought on a standing schedule.
